Games

  1. What games are available?
  2. Wreflecto Mirror, Wreflecto Cross, Wriddle, Wordfind, and Defind.

  3. Where can I play each game?
  4. When are daily games released?
  5. A new daily game is available each day at midnight in your local time zone.

  6. How do practice modes differ from daily challenges?
  7. Daily challenges are the same for everyone each day. Practice mode (iOS app, subscribers only) offers unlimited play adapted to your skill. Choose 'All Words' to play with system words, or 'My Words' to use your saved favorites.

  8. Can I set the difficulty for daily games?
  9. No, daily games have the same difficulty for everyone. For a challenge adapted to you, try the practice modes in the app.

  10. How do I play Wriddle?
  11. Solve a 5-letter word in five tries using the daily riddle as a clue. Enter valid words. Tile colors show how close you are.

  12. What is Hard Mode?
  13. Wriddle has an optional Hard Mode, found in Settings. If you turn it on, any hints revealed in a guess must be used in your next guess.

  14. How do I play Wreflecto?
  15. Complete a square grid so rows and columns form valid, non-repeated words. The first row is prefilled.

  16. Is there only one right answer for Wreflecto?
  17. Not necessarily. Some puzzles might have only one possible valid grid, while others can be solved in multiple ways. You win by creating a complete square where every row and column forms a valid word according to our word list. If your grid meets these rules, it counts as a correct solution, even if it uses different words than our suggested solution.

  18. What's the difference between Wreflecto Mirror and Cross?
    • Mirror: Symmetrical word square. Each row (and hence, column) must form a valid word. Typing in a cell, also types at its symmetricall cell.
    • Cross: Not Symmetrical. Each row and each column must form separate valid words.

  19. What kind of words are the solutions in Wriddle and Wreflecto?
  20. Solution words are typically common and reasonably well-known, similar to those found in games like Wordle. We avoid proper nouns and obscure terms for our suggested solutions. You shouldn't need highly specialized vocabulary.

  21. Why wasn't my word accepted as a guess in Wriddle or Wreflecto?
  22. Our games accept a very broad list of words, similar to those allowed in Scrabble or Wordle, including many variations and less common terms. We mainly exclude proper nouns (like names or places), certain offensive words, or words containing hyphens or spaces. Sometimes a word you know might not be on our list. If you believe a common word is missing, please email us at [email protected] with the word.

  23. I noticed an error in a game. What should I do?
  24. We try hard to be accurate, but mistakes happen. Please report game errors through the app settings ("Contact Support / Report Bugs") or email [email protected]. Screenshots help.

  25. Can I adjust the game timers?
  26. Yes, for Wordfind and Defind in the app, you can adjust the timer duration (up to 10 minutes per question) in the game settings.
